Ever since moving to a new apartment and getting over being sick, I have been dying to get out! This year I turned the legal age of 21 and you know what that means. Nights out with close friends where I can get into clubs and bars without worry. Dancing the night away surrounded by people who I don’t know and couldn’t care to. And yes, of course, Alcohol! Fruity little drinks that make you feel bubbly and makes everyone around you look better. Now if you don’t drink I completely understand and respect that. But for me I don’t even leave the house without pre gaming.
Like I said, I hadn’t been out in a while. About three months to be exact. So when my friend, who I hadn’t seen since the move, mentioned going to mill, I quickly said yes! My life was finally falling back into place, my money was right, and I had the perfect outfit picked out. When the weekend finally rolled around I was ready. We made it to my friends house, where we would be crashing for the night, took a few shots and when our phones notified us that our uber had arrived, we were off.
I have to admit when we made our way into the first club I was a bit disappointed. We had all forgotten that it was summer break and since mill is in college town, the clubs were not as packed as I remember. But that doesn’t mean we didn’t have fun. We ditched this first club after downing our first drinks and made our rounds hopping from one spot to the next. I can’t even count the amount of calories we burned on the dance floor!
We ended our night at Taco Bell stealing curly fries off each others trays and waiting for our uber. Once we stumbled back into the apartment we must have stayed up for an extra hour and a half talking, laughing and dancing the night away. We finally fell asleep to the sounds of Anastasia playing in the background. The next morning it was time to get back to our lives. So with a hug goodbye and a promise out next night out would be at Old Town, I returned home with a camera full of photos of a fun night I can bearly remember.
Until next time, Kisses Kittens <3
